Unser Dahoam befindet sich Schenna im Meraner Land. Mit einer fantastischen Aussichtslage auf die umliegende Berglandschaft thronen unser Refugium und Chalet über den Meraner Talkessel. Unsere beiden Häuser liegen ungefähr 800 m voneinander entfernt auf 800 m Meereshöhe, das Dorfzentrum befindet sich ca. 1,5 km entfernt auf 600 m Meereshöhe. Unser Dahoam liegt inmitten eines weitläufigen Wandergebietes für geübte Berggeher, aber auch für Genusswanderer. Beide Ferienhäuser befinden sich in umittelbarer Umgebung des Schenner Waalweges. Entlang des Schenner Waalwegs werden Ausflügler zwei Stunden lang vom beruhigenden Plätschern des jahrhundertealten Bewässerungskanals durch Wald und Apfelplantagen begleitet. Die Waalwege gehören zu Südtirols beliebtesten Besonderheiten. Der Einstieg zum Höfeweg am Schennaberg befindet sich direkt an der Talstation der Seilbahn Taser und verbindet mehrere historische Bauernhöfe und bietet einen Einblick in das Leben und Arbeiten am Bergbauernhof. Das Wandergebiet Schennaberg ist mit der nahegelegen fußläufig erreichbaren Seilbahn Taser innerhalb von sieben Minuten zu erreichen und begeistert mit einer großen Anzahl an Hütten- und Almenwanderungen, sowie Gipfelbesteigungen. Il Dahoam è immerso in un’estesa area adatta sia agli escursionisti esperti, sia a chi cammina per piacere. Entrambi gli edifici si trovano nelle immediate vicinanze del sentiero delle rogge di Scena, che in due ore conduce gli escursionisti attraverso boschi e coltivazioni di mele, accompagnati dal rassicurante scrosciare del canale d’irrigazione secolare. Le rogge sono una delle peculiarità più apprezzate dell’Alto Adige. L’accesso al sentiero dei masi sul Montescena si trova proprio nella stazione a valle della funivia Taser e collega numerosi masi storici offrendo uno sguardo nella vita e nel lavoro di una malga di montagna. L’area escursionistica Montescena si raggiunge in sette minuti con la vicina funivia Taser ed è una meta molto apprezzata per il gran numero di escursioni alle baite e alle malghe e per le ascensioni alle vette. Schenna is located directly at the valley station of the Taser aerial cableway and connects several historical farmsteads. This trail offers interesting insights to life and work in alpine farms. The Mt. Schenna hiking area can be reached in seven minutes by following the nearby Taser aerial cableway (accessible by foot). It boasts an impressive number of hiking trails taking you to huts and refreshment stops, and also to the summit.

Unser Schwimmteich stellt eine harmonische Einheit von Pool und Biotop dar. Sauberes und lebendiges Wasser ohne jegliche Chemie, umgeben von Fauna und Flora, verwöhnt Körper und Geist gleichermaßen. Eine sorgfältig abgestimmte Bepflanzung der zwei vom Schwimmbereich abgetrennten Regenerationsbereiche sorgt für eine natürliche biologische Aufbereitung des Wassers. Das Wasser zirkuliert über die Wasserfälle und deshalb ist ein Beheizen oder Abdecken des Schwimmbereiches nicht sinnvoll. Gerne können Sie als unser Gast im Chalet unseren Naturpool mitbenutzen. The water is circulated over the waterfalls. For this reason, it is not practical or desirable to heat or cover the swimming area.
